About Maasai Mara Game Reserve

The Maasai Mara is arguably East Africa's most famous wildlife reserve: rolling savannah, acacia woodlands and the Mara River, crossed each July–October by 1.3 million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra in the Great Migration. Year-round home to the Big Five, cheetah, and the largest concentration of lion prides in Kenya.
