About Mount Elgon National Park
Mt Elgon's massive caldera is one of the largest in the world. Kitum Cave is famous for its salt-licking elephants that tunnel deep into the mountainside. Trek to the 4,321m Wagagai summit on the Ugandan side or the Kenyan Koitoboss summit.
