Mago National Park covers 2,162 km² north of the Omo River and is the principal way most visitors reach the Mursi people (the famous lip-plate women). Wildlife includes lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, lesser kudu, tiang and Bright's gazelle — though wildlife viewing is difficult due to thick bush. Combine with Omo NP across the river for a deep Omo Valley circuit.
