About Mount Bisoke

Mount Bisoke is the classic one-day volcano climb inside Volcanoes National Park. A 6-hour round-trip ascent through bamboo, hagenia and afro-alpine forest leads to a stunning circular crater lake on the summit. Easier than Karisimbi but still at real altitude (3,711 m) — fitness recommended.
