Overview

A perfect 2-day add-on to a gorilla trek — or a stand-alone short Rwanda adventure. Bisoke's summit crater lake sits at 3,711 m and is reached by a 6-hour round-trip from the Bisate trailhead. Cloud forest → bamboo → Hagenia → giant lobelia. Not as hard as Karisimbi but still at altitude.
