The eastern Tanzanian shore is dotted with sleepy beach villages (Kigoma, Ujiji, Kipili) — from here you access Mahale and Gombe, or spend a few days snorkelling the endemic cichlids.

  • 250+ endemic cichlid fish species
  • Access point for Mahale + Gombe
