Its Sanetti Plateau is the last stronghold of the Ethiopian wolf — the world's rarest canid, with only 500 individuals left. Five well-paced days combine moorland wolf-watching on Sanetti (4,000 m), a mountain-nyala drive near Dinsho, a trek across the Web Valley, and a day in the Harenna bamboo forest on the southern slopes. No summits — this trip is about wildlife and landscape, not altitude.
