Overview

Eastern Uganda's best short adventure. Sipi Falls is a 3-tier waterfall on the flanks of Mt Elgon — abseil option, Arabica-coffee farm tours, and moderate hiking. Then 3 days on Mt Elgon itself: the Sipi route gives access to the Tuboi Cave paintings (2,000+ years old), the Jackson's Pool crater-edge viewpoint, and — if time permits — the Wagagai summit (4,321 m).
